I’m often raving about the natural beauty of Arizona. This trip took over the first place spot. Drove north on 17 through Flagstaff to Navajo territory, with the first stop at majestic Antelope Canyon. We waited 2 hours for one of the day’s 25 loosely guided tours 1400+ feet below ground. Sherbert, the word that comes to mind when I try to explain the scenery.
Back south after the 1.5 hour tour, passing by wondrous Horseshoe Bend. Sat for an hour, gazing south at the rounded path of the Colorado River. No filter needed as the sun set on the perfect scenery.
